My Journey (by Monica Levin): I remember that as a child I had physical problems that doctors could not find reasons for. I had diarrhea, headaches, knee and ankle pains at night, canker sores, cold sores, night terrors, and exhaustion to name a few. With all of the poking and prodding that I was subjected to I not only had inaccurate food allergy test results but I also became very afraid of needles. In my teen years some of my symptoms decreased in severity but I took on a new one which was menstrual cramps. Darn! It was at the end of my civil engineering degree that my diarrhea worsened and I tried to get medical help, but to no avail. One day I was at the home of one of the professors when I told his wife of my problems. She said “You should go and see this woman who does a very strange allergy test.” I asked the foremost question on my mind which was “Does she use needles?” When the answer was “No” I phoned this woman, Lise, and made an appointment. It was one week later that I was first exposed to muscle testing, or Applied Kinesiology, and found out what foods I was allergic to. I was so excited and determined to try this new way of eating that I stepped in to it with 100% commitment. Within three days my diarrhea stopped. After one month I noticed that I no longer had headaches, leg pains, canker sores, or cold sores, and after three months I no longer had menstrual cramps! This was the beginning of a new stage of my life, of which there have been many. Since that fated meeting with my supervisor’s wife, and subsequently Lise, I have expanded my knowledge and intuition immensely. I am always amazed at how I have moved from civil engineer, to high school math and physics teacher, to holistic nutritionist or dietitian, to doing Reconnective Healing and The Reconnection, teaching people how to talk to their angels, doing food allergy testing using muscle testing, writing books, and designing web sites (shown on www.MonicasWebSiteDesign.com). Who knows where life will take me next? Wishing you health, happiness, and joyous
expansion on your journey.
