In 1987 a holistic nutritionist in Waterloo Ontario tested me for food allergies using muscle testing. She determined that I was allergic to wheat, milk, corn, and refined white sugar, along with a few other foods.  After three days of avoiding my allergic foods I felt so good that I decided to continue with my new allergy-free diet. I then converted my old recipes such that the food allergy recipes were wheat-free, milk-free, corn-free, and refined white sugar-free. In addition, more than 80% of the recipes that I created were also gluten-free. Over 20 years later I have my food allergy cookbooks for sale.
